Madrid, September 10th, 2025

Entrol, the manufacturer of EASA and FAA certified FNPT, FTD, and FFS flight simulators, announces the installation of an en-1000x simulator at the Belgian flight school Aerocademy flight sim center in Belgium. The installation of this device, sold in May 2025 with its final acceptance test (FAT) completed in July, was finalized last August 2025.

This project stands out for the simulator’s versatility, which will allow Aerocademy to cover a fundamental part of its training program, from the initial phases to the multi-engine instrument rating, all within a single device.

A flexible solution for comprehensive training

The key to the en-1000x simulator being installed at Aerocademy facility in Hasselt Belgium is its reconfigurability. The cockpit can operate as:

  • Multi Engine Piston (MEP) with G1000 avionics: For advanced training in multi-engine and instrument procedures.
  • Single Engine Piston (SEP) Complex with analog instruments: Essential for students to master the fundamentals of traditional instrument flight.
  • Single Engine Piston (SEP) Simple with G1000 avionics: Ideal for initial familiarization with glass cockpit systems.

This triple functionality provides the school with an extraordinarily efficient training tool that adapts to the different stages of a pilot’s learning path.

Quality and durability certified by entrol

This unit is a refurbished device, a testament to the reliability and lifespan of entrol’s products. As part of our certified refurbishment program, the simulator has been meticulously inspected, updated, and tested at entrol’s facilities to guarantee it meets the same quality and certification standards as a new unit.

To complement the cockpit’s fidelity, the simulator features a 180ºx40º cylindrical visual system and a database with 10 key airports for the school’s operations, such as Brussels (EBBR), Liege (EBLG), and Luxembourg (ELLX). Furthermore, the inclusion of a vibration system adds an extra layer of realism by simulating the tactile sensations of flight.

Juanjo Lechosa, entrol’s Business Manager, comments: “We are delighted that Scape Projects Aerocademy has placed its trust in our en-1000x. This project demonstrates the value and longevity of our simulators. Our refurbishment program ensures that a flight school can access top-tier technology sustainably, with the full guarantee of entrol’s certification and support. The versatility of this simulator makes it the perfect tool for a forward-thinking school.”
